“Beijing Capital Airlines” Macau - Beijing / Beijing - Lisbon Route Inaugural Flight Ceremony25 Jul 2017

The first Beijing - Macau flight of “Beijing Capital Airlines” landed at Macau International Airport (MIA) on 25th July 2017, to commemorate the official launch of this new route, “Beijing Capital Airlines” held an inaugural flight ceremony at Macau International Airport (MIA).  Starting from today, there will be 25 flights in a week flying from Macau to Beijing. The joining of “Beijing Capital Airlines” made an addition of 4 flights in a week flying Beijing – Macau on every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.  While Beijing - Lisbon services with 3 flights in a week on every Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. A 13-hour flight that departs Beijing Capital International Airport provides travelers with a comfortable journey on a new Airbus A330 twin-aisle, wide-body aircraft that can accommodate 475 passengers.


Mr. Eric Fong, Director of Marketing Department of Macau International Airport Company Limited (CAM) extended a very warm welcome to “Beijing Capital Airlines” operating flight services in MIA.  Mr. Fong expressed that with the joint efforts of all parties, the route Macau – Beijing will provide passengers with more choices. The connection of the Beijing – Lisbon route not only creates new air bridges, at the same time fulfill the direct flight service between China and Portugal. The inauguration of the new routes will certainly play a significant role on prompting the economic and culture exchange among China and Portugal and Macau, at the same time collaborate with the “One Belt One Road” policy from the Central Government.
