China Eastern Airline Macau – Kunming Service Launching Ceremony19 Dec 2018


China Eastern Airline commenced flight service between Macau and Kunming on 18th December 2018, which enriches holiday planners with more travel options.  The new flight service provides three weekly services on every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, landing Macau at approximately 20:25, and arriving Kunming at local time 00:10am; each flight durations approximately 2 hour 45 minutes. The airline held an inaugural celebration at Macau International Airport (MIA) on the same date, marking the official launch of flights between Macau and Kunming. Mr. Eric Fong, Director of Marketing Department of Macau International Airport Company Limited (CAM) represented to attend the activity.

 

Mr. Eric Fong extended a very warm welcome to China Eastern Airline's new service in MIA. Kunming is famous for its beautiful natural scenery and glorious historical heritages, the city is also known as the 'the City of Eternal Spring' for its pleasant climate and flowers that bloom all year long.  With the launch of the new flight service, travelers can take hold of the seasonal festival of the coming Chinese New Year to visit this wonderful tourist attraction. As economic conditions in peripheral regions continue to improve, MIA believes with the joint efforts with business partners, more and more new routes will be opened to serve Macau. As always, MIA will continue to work closely with airlines and tourism authorities to jointly develop more new destinations and provide passengers with more convenient travel options.

 

To meet with the travel peak season in Christmas, MIA will continue close cooperation with airlines to strengthen frequency of existing routes, and continue provide safe, comfort, and hassle free journey to travelers.
