CAM Paid Courtesy Visit to CAAC Central and Southern Regional Administration to Discuss Cooperation and Coordinated Development08 Jan 2017

Dr. Deng Jun – Chairman of the Executive Committee of Macau International Airport Co., Ltd. (CAM) led a delegation to pay a courtesy visit to Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) Central and Southern Regional Administration on 6th Jan, 2017, had an in depth communication with Mr. Zhou Yizhou – Director of CAAC Central and Southern Regional Administration about civil aviation industry in Pearl River Delta Region.
 
Chairman Deng Jun briefed Macau International Airport (MIA)’s performance in 2016 and development planning of 2017, expressed gratitude for the support of CAAC Central and Southern Regional Administration. The orderly operation of airports in PRD region and rapid growth was inseparable from harmonious development of civil aviation industry. MIA will continue to enhance communication and cooperation to further strengthen mutual cooperation which could facilitate stronger growth of economy development of PRD region.
 
Director Zhou noted the high speed growth in the trend of civil aviation was showed in 2016. International passengers in the Pearl River Delta region increased by 24%. At the same time, Guangzhou-Baiyun International Airport and Shenzhen Bao'an International Airport totaled over 100 million passenger traffic volume. The CAAC Central and Southern Regional Administration would continue supporting the coordinated development and operation of the civil aviation system in the PRD region. 
 
Other CAM’s representatives in the visit are Ms. Katy Lo – Director of Executive Committee Office, Ms. Vicki Mou – Chief of Corporate Communication & Policy Research Office (CPO), Ms. Miley Kou – Assistant Manager of CPO. Other GAA’s representatives in the meeting are Mr. Li Ziguang – Division Chief in Division of Airport Management, Mr. Wu Canming – Deputy Division Chief in Division of Personnel, Science and Education and Mr. Hu Kaiyuan – Secretary of the Bureau Office.
