Ms. Mandy Sio, Deputy Director and Mr. Sammy Ho, Manager of Infrastructure Development Department of Macau International Airport Co. Ltd. (CAM) attended the “Airport Master Planning” course organized by IATA Training & Development Institute, Beijing China, from 20 to 24 June 2016. This course is one of the compulsory courses of the Airport Strategy Management Diploma.

The 5 days course was facilitated by Mr. Colin Spear who has comprehensive experience in Airport Master Planning. The content of the course included airport strategic planning, forecasting demand, planning ground access, terminal capacity and airside capacity planning and management, airport operations support systems, passenger baggage systems, etc. The training course is able to provide the insight of the Airport Master Planning through the course content with a number of case studies, as to better understand the airport strategy planning and development, also the related management skills.
