MIA Representative Participated the 6th Airport Construction Summit (ACS) 2016

The 6th Airport Construction Summit (ACS) 2016 organized by Shanghai Society of Aeronautics was held in Shanghai, China on 19-20 May 2016. Delegation from Macau International Airport Company Limited (CAM) attended this summit which was a good opportunity to communicate with other international airport entities regarding the airport construction and development.

 

In the 2-days summit, Macau International Airport (MIA) was awarded the “Annual Best Technology-applied Airport Award 2016” which Mr. Ye Hong - Chief Representative of Shanghai Representative Office (SRO) represented to receive. Ms. Sharon Wang – Managing Director of Airport Information Management Solutions (AMIS), gave a speech in the session of “Practice of Virtual Airport”, Mr. Sandro Kou - Director of Infrastructure Development Department of CAM participated in a group discussion with other leading airline enterprises regarding the Scientific Construction of Airports & the Sustainable Development of Airport Construction. They have discussed and exchanged experience about the related issues of the relationship between the airport efficiency and revenue.

 

ACS 2016 gathered top leaders from over 30 different international airport management groups and related entities. The 2-days summit not only broadened the international perspective, deepened communication with the aviation industry, but also enhanced the knowledge of various airport’s construction, operational trends and the latest technology. Thus, it did create an excellent communication platform for MIA. Participant from MIA also included Mr. Jerry Pang – Manager of SRO of CAM.
