Mr. Alex Fong, Deputy Director of Infrastructure Development Department of Macau International Airport Co. Ltd. (CAM) attended the “Airport Route Development and Commercial Management”course organized by IATA Training & Development Institute, Singapore, from 23 to 27 November 2015. This course is one of the compulsory courses of the Airport Strategy Management Diploma.

The 5 days course was facilitated by Mr. George Karamanos who has comprehensive experience in route development and airport marketing. The content of the course included industry trends and economics, airport business and commercial strategy, the principles of route development and implementation, airport-airline marketing cooperation, airport commercial and concession management, airport city development, etc. The training course is able to provide the insight of the airport route development and commercial management through the course content with a number of case studies.
