MIA Representatives Attends NBAA 2015 in Las Vegas

The National Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition 2015 (NBAA 2015), the largest business aviation trade show in the world, was held in Las Vegas, U.S. from 17th to 19th November. Mr. Cui Guang, Director of Logistics and General Aviation Development Department (LGD) and Mr. Jim Leung, Manager of LGD represented Macau International Airport Co., Ltd. (CAM) to attend this event. World premium business aviation companies, major business jet manufacturers, operators and services providers showcased their products, resources and services, also conducted business trade and exchanged the view of business aviation during the event. As Macau International Airport is actively developing business aviation related services these years, NBAA 2015 is a great platform for CAM to acquire the latest global business aviation development information and to learn ideas and experience from other professionals in pushing forward the business aviation development, also to enhance the reputation and to promote the business aviation services of the Macau International Airport.

 

Mr. Michael Huerta – Administrator of Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Mrs. Mary Fallin – Oklahoma Gov, Mr. R.Gil Kerlikeowske – Commissioner of U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), Mr. Dierks Bentley – an acclaimed singer/songwriter, licensed pilot and business aircraft owner attended the grand opening ceremony. “Industries will see additional improvements in near future, such as information of takeoff and taxiway being delivered to the cockpit via text messaging, we’re calling it Data Communication. We have already deployed Data Comm in Newark, Memphis, Houston and Salt Lake City.” Mr. Michael pointed out in his opening speech. In addition, he also mentioned that safety is not only the mandate and responsibility of the FAA, but shared by everyone.

 

NBAA 2015 featured about 1,000 exhibitors and over 100 side-by-side business aircraft on display area, attracted more than 26,000 industrial professionals from all over the world to attend this event.
