For improving the standard of service quality, Macau International Airport (MIA) has constantly upgraded various facilities in the Passenger Terminal Building to satisfy different visitors. Up to July 2015, MIA has installed tactile warning strip through the use of tactile hazard warning tiles or blocks in front of the doors, lifts, elevators and stair case in the public area of Passenger Terminal Building. Visitors with visual impairment can be warned of certain construction features by foot walking stick or underfoot. As always, MIA will continue to invest facilities for barrier-free accessibility Passenger Terminal Building.
