Macau International Airport to Co-organize “2015 ACI Asia-Pacific Small and Emerging Airports Seminar”

Macau International Airport Co., Ltd. (CAM) and Airports Council International (ACI) Asia-Pacific signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) on 29th January, 2015 on co-organizing the “2015 ACI Asia-Pacific Small and Emerging Airports Seminar” in Macau.  The seminar aims to enhance development of aviation business and deepen the cooperation and information exchange with aviation partners at the Asia-Pacific region.  Dr. Deng Jun – Chairman of the Executive Committee of CAM and Mrs. Patti Chau – Regional Director of ACI Asia-Pacific signed the MOU under the witness by Mr. Anthony U – Director of Legal Affairs Department of CAM and Ms. Yulim Lee – Manager of Member Service & Events of ACI Asia-Pacific.  Mr. Eric Fong – Director of Marketing Department and Ms. Elizabeth Cheong – Deputy Director of Marketing Department also participated at the signing ceremony.

 

As the only global trade association of the world’s airports, ACI represents airports’ interests when working with governments and international organizations, develops standards, policies and recommended practices for airports, and provides information and training opportunities to raise standards around the world. This year marks the 10thanniversary of the unification of ACI Asia-Pacific and the 2015 ACI Asia-Pacific Small and Emerging Airports Seminarwill take place in Macau from 25th to 27th November, 2015. Over a hundred delegates from across the Asia-Pacific region are expected to participate at the seminar.  

 

To align with the 20th anniversary of Macau International Airport (MIA), CAM is going to carry out a series of celebration activities aimed to appreciate the long-term support and contribution by the industry partners and passengers, the 2015 ACI Asia-Pacific Small and Emerging Airports Seminarwill be one amongst.  Being the pillar of Macau aviation industry, MIA will continue to provide high standard quality service and optimize airport facilities, strengthen cooperation with neighbor airports, and actively promote the sustainable development of Macau aviation industry.
