Macau International Airport (MIA) delegation participated in the “5th Civil Aviation and Media Exchange Forum” held by the CARNOC.comin Beijing on 3rd April, 2014, explored the New media communication strategy for civil aviation and shared experience of public voice dealing through interaction with media and industry, which helped MIA to provide better service.
MIA’s four representatives formed a delegation to participate in the forum, including: Macau International Airport Co. Ltd.(CAM) – Deputy Chief of Executive Committee Office & Chief of Corporate Communication & Policy Research Office (CPO) Ms. Vicki Mou, Officer of Marketing Department Mr. Daniel Lam and Officer of CPO Ms. Miley Kou; Airport Information Management Solutions (AIMS) – Deputy Director of Marketing Department Mr. Paul Qiu.
Through discussion with different representatives in the fields of brand publicity, marketing, service department, traditional media and we-media, MIA representatives learned latest insights of aviation network media and we-media, drew lessons of dealing with domestic media.MIA further deepened links with the media in the Mainland China through the Forum, getting preparations to strengthen more cooperation with CARNOC.com and extend publication to the Mainland.
The organizer set the “closed-door consultation” on the basis of the previous period, and published 2013 Aviation Communication, Human Resource and Service Evaluation annual reports, helped participants to discuss publicity of aviation service and public voice dealing experience. The forum did not only explore passengers’ ideas and requests straight, but also helped MIA to improve service quality and define improvement direction.
