New Express Link Service between the Taipa Temporary Ferry Terminal and Macau International Airport

To further enhance connectivity between Macau International Airport (MIA) and the Pearl River Delta (PRD), a new Express Link Service between the Taipa Temporary Ferry Terminal and Macau International Airport will launch on 20th October, 2009. This service, complementing the same service offered to and from the Macau Ferry Terminal, will offer another choice of a convenient and swift traffic access of border for the passengers who come to Macau to take the plane.  At present, Cotai Chu Kong Shipping Management Services (Macau) Co., Ltd.(CKS) is providing 3 flights to travel between Taipa Temporary Ferry Terminal and Skekou Shenzhen every day and is scheduled to grow to 4 times daily by the end of this year.

Express Link Service between Taipa Temporary Ferry Terminal and Macau International Airport will operate 10 daily services at the initial stage, departing Taipa Temporary Ferry Terminal at 11:00, 13:45,17:20 & 19:00 and leaving MIA at 10:30, 11:45, 13:15, 14:00, 17:00 & 18:00 every day.

After launching this Express Link service between Taipa Temporary Ferry Terminal and MIA, passengers from neighbor areas will have additional above-ground option and can enjoy convenience when departing from or arriving at MIA. Meanwhile, with CKS schedules to open services from Jiuzhou, Jiangmen, Humen, and Fuyong ports to Macau in the near future, it will not only provide another choice of border traffic, but also help interact with stream of people of the Greater PRD region, play a positive role to expand the flow of passengers source in MIA and stand up Macau’s multi-modal transport link within the PRD.
