Effective from 1st January 2016, there are new requirements for carriage of portable electronic devices with lithium batteries and spare lithium batteries on aircraft. Also, electronic smoking devices are included in the scope of this regulation. The table below summarises the restrictions:

Passengers are advised to contact their respective airline carrier, ahead of their flight, to clarify any restrictions that may be in force.
