AirAsia commenced flight service between Macau and Thailand (Krabi) on the 1st December 2018, the new flight service provides 4 weekly services every Mondays, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, flight durations will take about 3 hour 20 minutes.
Macau International Airport Company Limited (CAM) extended a warm welcome to “AirAsia” launching new air services between Macau and Thailand (Krabi) in MIA. Southeast Asia is an important source market of Macau with the growth of air passenger to travel. In Addition, The Airline now operates 7 routes including direct services from Macau – Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Utapao, Phuket, Kuala Lumpur and Kota Kinabalu and Manila. It will benefit the Macau residents travelling to Thailand. The inauguration of this Thailand (Krabi) services is in time to satisfy the vacation peak season for travel in December.
Macau International Airport (MIA), as always, strives to incorporate with the objectives of the government’s policy to build Macau as a “World Tourism and Leisure Center”, with AirAsia commence services between Macau and Thailand (Krabi), it marked a further step in expanding air transportation between both regions, and expect to enlarge the market share, it also enhanced closer co-operation between the two places. MIA will continue working with airlines, to explore opportunities and strengthen co-operation, and further expand Macau air service networks.
