Representatives of Macau International Airport (MIA) participated in the Second ICAO Next Generation of Aviation Professionals Global Summit in Guangdong Shenzhen hosted by ICAO, the Shenzhen Municipal People’s government, The Chinese Society of Aeronautics and Astronautics and Beihang University from 12th to 14th December 2018. The summit united the aviation community, the education circle and the labor sector, to work out strategies and action plan to attract, educate and retain the next generation of aviation professionals.  To ensure there have sufficient professionals with corresponding qualification to operate, manage and maintain future international air transportation systems.

During the summit, all the participants, experts and scholar discussed the importance of Next Generation Aviation Professionals in implementing ever evolving global strategies for air navigation, safety, environmental protection and economic development.  Representatives of MIA participated in the seminar were: Macau International Airport Company Limited (CAM) – Manager of Corporate Communication & Policy Research Office Ms. Adrina Ho; Airport Information Management Solutions (AIMS) - Deputy Director of Technical Service Department Mr. Ming Huang and SEMAC Security Company – Aviation Security Instructor Mr. Ho Peng Nam.
