Mr. Ma Iao Hang, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Macau International Airport Company Limited (CAM), together with Chairman of Executive Committee Dr. Deng Jun, received and had a meeting with Executive Director Mr. Raymond Lau and other representatives of Hong Kong Aviation Security Co. Ltd. (AVESCO) on 12th April 2019. Chairman Ma Iao Hang thanked Mr. Lau and his delegates for coming to Macao for exchange of work experience and opinions. "Safety, Efficiency and Effectiveness" is the operational goal of Macau International Airport (MIA). It emphasizes that safety is the primary and basic element in the operation of the Macau International Airport. It is hoped that SEMAC Security Company of MIA can pay attention to it. Cooperate with the SAR Government to ensure the smooth operation of the airport.

Mr. Pun Su Peng , Managing Director of SEMAC Security Company said that this year is the 20th anniversary of the return of the Macau SAR. The security work at Macau International Airport can learn from the experience of the Hong Kong International Airport in the anniversary of 2017, and should have implementation and planning. It is hoped that the level of security and quality will be improved to ensure the successful completion of the work. AVESCO Mr. Lau believes that with the development of the tourism industry and the civil aviation industry, strengthening exchanges with neighboring regions will play an important role in the increasingly significant airport security work, helping each other to learn and progress.
