2020 Guangzhou Business Aviation Exhibition (GZBAE 2020) was held at FBO, Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport (CAN), Guangzhou from 6 to 7 November 2020. Mr. Lei Si Tai – Executive Director of Macau International Airport Company Limited (CAM) and his delegation attended this event. Over 20 business jet operators, manufacturers and industry companies join the event, 15 state-of-the-art business jets displayed in this year’s GZBAE. Event activities include aircraft static display and industry forum, etc.
To thoroughly implement Outline Development Plan for the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area，Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) published Implementation Opinions on CAAC supporting coordinated development of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area (“implementation Opinions”) in 2020. “Implementation Opinions” state to develop Greater Bay Area(GBA) as a world-class business jet operation and management centre. During this event, CAM representatives visit FBO facilities in CAN, exchange opinions on FBO operation mode, and discuss with the industries on industry chain extension for business aviation, build one-hour commuting circle of GBA, enhance multi-modal transportation versatile, improve connectivity within GBA, create seamless connecting service for time-sensitive passengers by utilizing new connecting mode, build regional general aviation service system with GBA characteristics. Macau International Airport (MIA) proactively study future development of business aviation in Macau, in the guidance of “Implementation Opinions”, MIA look forward to improve business jet support capability, enhance low-latitude air-connecting capability, with the renovation of part of Taipa Ferry Terminal into the “Second terminal building” of MIA, “business jet + helicopter” pattern is expected to bring more time-saving air service to business jet passengers.
