In order to further improve the operational management model of the Macau International Airport Integrated Airport Management Center (IAMC), delegation of Macau International Airport Company Limited (CAM) and IAMC members visited Hangzhou International Airport from 11th to 13th September 2024. The purpose of this visit was to study the practices and management experiences of a large-scale airport operations control center in China.
Hangzhou International Airport’s Integrated Airport Center (IAC), which opened in November 2022, is the largest and most integrated command center in China, with the most workstations. It is equipped with various functional modules that comprehensively cover all aspects of airport operations management.
During the exchange meeting, Hangzhou International Airport representatives shared their experiences in the development of the IAC and airport operation management models. Both sides had in-depth discussions on how to improve the efficiency of outbound passenger services and security channel management. Afterwards, the delegation visited the IAC and T4 terminal to further understand the operational details of various aspects. This visit has provided valuable practical experience for the operation and management of IAMC.
