Representatives from Macau International Airport Company Limited (CAM) participated in the Macau Tourism + MICE Product Updates Seminar in Bangkok, Thailand on 5th June 2025 organized by Macao Government Tourism Office (MGTO), aiming to further enhance tourism collaboration between Macau and Thailand while attracting more Thai visitors to Macau. The event gathered over 180 industry representatives from both regions to jointly showcase Macau’s diversified “Tourism +” offerings and explore strategies for expanding international visitor sources. During the meeting, CAM representatives introduced the aviation network advantages of Macau to Thai travel agencies, MICE companies, and airline partners while discussing collaborative opportunities in the Thai market.

According to Macau’s visitor arrival data from January to April 2025, Thailand ranks 8th among Macau’s top ten visitor market and 5th in international visitor market, highlighting its potential as a key Southeast Asian market. Currently, three airlines (Air Macau, Thai AirAsia and Thai Lion Air) offer regular direct flights which comprise 54 weekly flights between Macau and Bangkok. Macau International Airport will continue supporting MGTO to expand international visitor sources and strengthen the development strategy for Thailand as a key destination.
