The “2025 Asian Freight, Logistics & Supply Chain Awards”(AFLAS) hosted by Asia Cargo News was held in Hong Kong on 3rd September 2025. Macau International Airport (MIA) was once again honored with the “Best Airport - Asia” award (under 1m tonnes). As an authoritative annual awards ceremony in the Asian transport and supply chain industry, the winners of the AFLAS Awards are nominated and voted for by over 15,000 service users, including readers and e-newsletter subscribers, to recognize companies and service providers that demonstrate excellence in leadership, service quality, innovation, customer relationship management, and reliability. The award categories include airports and seaports, logistics and third-party logistics providers, airlines and shipping lines, among other related industry professionals. Therefore, the award not only signifies the outstanding performance of the prize winning airport in infrastructure and operational efficiency, but also reflects the success of MIA in gaining industry recognition for its specialized, high-quality services of air cargo market in the Greater Bay Area.
