KC International Airlines commenced daily flight service between Macau and Sihanoukville on the 7th September 2018. The airline held an inaugural celebration at Macau International Airport (MIA), marking the official launch of flights between Macau and Sihanoukville. Mr. Eric Fong, Director of Marketing Department of Macau International Airport Company Limited (CAM) represented to attend the activity.
Mr. Eric Fong extended a very warm welcome to the new airline. He expressed, “During the summer holiday this year, passenger traffic volume in MIA recorded 12% increase. Flight movement increased by 14% compare to last year July and August. The three market sources, Mainland China, China Taiwan, and Southeast Asia, recorded continuous growth. Mainland China routes increased 20%, Southeast Asia market increased by 8%, and China Taiwan increase 2%. With the addition of new airlines, MIA encourages KC International Airline to seize the advantage of fifth freedom rights to expand new air services, providing passengers with more convenient travel options.
