On September 27th-28th , 2018, the 2nd business aviation (BA) promotion activity in the theme of “Best Choice for flying to PRD – Macau International Airport (MIA)” was held successfully by Macau International Airport Company Limited (CAM) in Chengdu.
On September 27, major business jet companies and general aviation enterprises from Southwest China are invited to this seminar. During the seminar, CAM representatives introduced general aviation service development at MIA and the sustainable development of general aviation in Sichuan and Macau. CAM representatives stated that with the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge (the Bridge) about to open to traffic, tourists travelling to Macau or transferring to other regions through MIA will be more facilitated. Meanwhile, the opening of the Bridge will also bring more opportunities to Macau. With the increase of passengers and opportunities, general aviation intercity flights may be a nice choice to shorten intra-regional commuting time, improve regional 3D traffic network system, provide diversified services for tourists and enhance connectivity of MIA within Pearl-River-Delta region. Industry representatives of Sichuan expressed that general aviation in Sichuan saw a booming development in recent years, business becomes more mature, and they also look forward to future bilateral cooperation between general aviation industries in Sichuan and Macau. On September 28, CAM representatives paid a visit to a local general aviation company - Tuofeng general aviation, exchanged industry experience with Mr. Che Tianfa - president of Sichuan general aviation association and Chairman of Tuofeng general aviation, and had further discussion about cooperative opportunity.
This promotion activity has been attached great importance by industries in Sichuan. The event gained strong support and active participation by Allpointspresident and general managers of president and general managers of AAAAAaaaasdsssfjff Jet, BAA aviation Chengdu, Meilianhuabang general aviation, Tuofeng general Aviation and Luzheng general aviation.
