Dr. Ma Man Kei - Former Vice Chairman of the CPPCC (Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference) and Macao’s business leader passed away peacefully on 26^th May 2014, at the age of 95. His coffin was transported back from Beijing to Macau International Airport (MIA) today (29^th May, 2014) at 12:16pm. Chief Executive of MSAR Dr. Fernando Chui Sai On, Vice Chairman of CPPCC Mr. Edmund Ho Hau Wah, Director of Liaison Office of the Central People's Government inMSAR Mr. Li Gang and other government officials were there in the Airport for greeting, with the accompany of the Chairman of the Executive Committee of Macau International Airport Company Limited (CAM) Dr. Deng Jun and President of the Board of Directors of Administration of Airports Ltd. (ADA) Ms. Suning Liu. It was solemn at the scene when the coffin covered with the national flag of the People’s Republic of China, escorted by 8 police officers slowly into the hearse. The hearse then left the Airport to the Kiang Wu funeral parlor.

 As one of the contributors to Macau International Airport Company Limited, he showed much support to the development of Macao’s civil aviation industry. He has expressed his affection to the Airport in a Chinese poem on 10^th December, 1995after attending the the inauguration ceremony on 8^th December, 1995.
