CEB’s celebrates 5th anniversary of Macau operations

The Philippines’ largest national flag carrier, Cebu Pacific Air celebrated its 5th year of operations in Macau with a special airport promotions from October 11 to 12, 2012.

 

CEBU’s lovable plane mascot, was around the Macau International Airport departure area to entertain the departing guests with photo shooting fun. On the same day, a special ceremony was held at the boarding gate area celebrating the anniversary.  Passengers heading for Manila were given exclusive giveaways while the first check in passenger to check in for the flight was given a free flight certificate.  To celebrate the milestone, the representatives of Macau International Airport Company Limited also welcomed the flight crew upon their arrival.

 

CEBU first flew to Macau on October 11, 2007, and now operates daily flights from Manila and four times weekly flights from Clark. Lowest year-round fares to Macau from the Philippines start at MOP 199.

The celebration of our 5th anniversary of operations in Macau signifies CEB’s commitment to provide connectivity to leisure and business travellers from the Philippines and beyond,” said CEB VP for Marketing and Distribution Candice Iyog.

 

CEB currently operates 10 Airbus A319, 21 Airbus A320 and 8 ATR-72 500 aircraft. Its fleet of 39 aircraft – with an average age of 3.6 years – is the largest aircraft fleet in the Philippines. Between 2012 and 2021, Cebu Pacific will take delivery of 21 more Airbus A320 and 30 Airbus A321neo aircraft orders. It is slated to begin long-haul services in the 3rd quarter of 2013.
