South East Asian Airlines (SEAIR), the Philippines’ premier leisure airline, is offering one-way fares as low as HKD145 (excludes taxes and charges) from Macau to Clark, Pampanga in the Philippines for travel from 15 July 2011 to 31 March 2012.  The promo is valid from 30 June to 6 July 2011.

“The Macau-Clark route is SEAIR’s third international destination under the Tiger Airways partnership,” said SEAIR president Avelino Zapanta.  “The new route offers similar ultra low fares as our Singapore and Hong Kong flights and serves as an important link between Philippines and China for tourists, business travellers, and Filipinos working abroad.”

SEAIR departs from Macau to Clark daily at 1650 and flies from Clark to Macau daily at 1425. Travelers can book online at www.FlySeair.com and www.tigerairways.com.

Clark, Pampanga is located in the midway point of the largest island in the Philippines, Luzon, and is considered a major gateway to the many paradise destinations in the country.  From Clark, travelers can hop over to the northern parts of the country to take in some of its beautiful landscapes including the Banawe Rice Terraces in Baguio, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and National Cultural Treasure referred to by Filipinos as the “Eighth Wonder of the World”; Kabigan Falls and Blue Lagoon Cove in Pagudpud; Paoay Lake National Park, and the Sand Dunes in La Paz, Ilocos Norte.

Clark is also a hop away from Metro Manila, the Philippine capital.  The old district of Manila is particularly rich in Spanish colonial cultural heritage and no less than the walled city of Intramuros exemplifies this.  History buffs can sign up for walking tours and learn more about the city while passing through churches, temples, wet markets, historic homes, traditional shops, city walls, alleys, esteros (canals), and museums.
SEAIR also offers the fastest flights from Clark and Metro Manila to Boracay. Boracay has lured travelers from the four corners of the world to its pristine four-kilometer stretch of white beach.  For those with an adventurous streak, Bulabog Beach on the ‘wilder side’ of the island is one of the top windsurfing spots in Asia.

SEAIR is the Philippines’ second oldest airline, and is the first airline based in Clark.  It has the reputation of having pioneered commercial flights to the country’s fastest growing tourist destinations including Boracay.  Now on its 16th year of operation, SEAIR is expanding its reach regionally with jet services to Macau, Singapore and Hong Kong from Clark.  For more information, please visit www.FlySeair.com. An airline partner of SEAIR and established in September 2004, Tiger Airways now operates a fleet of 25 Airbus A320-family aircraft and is committed to increasing its fleet size to 68 by December 2015.  The airline operates flights to 33 destinations across 12 countries and territories in Asia-Pacific from four bases in Singapore and Australia.  For more information, please visit www.tigerairways.com.
