TDM aims in promoting the broadcasting and film production development in Macao, and supports with diversified and creative platform for the local film talents to showcase their works. In the celebration of the 20th anniversary of Macau International Airport (MIA), TDM has held a microfilm contest with the theme of the anniversary of MIA, sponsoring by Macau International Airport Company Limited (CAM). A prize presentation of the contest was held at the Macau International Airport on 8 December.
Contestants of the competition are required to produce a microfilm within two minutes about the theme of 20th anniversary of MIA. After the call for entries, 15 pieces of work had been received as team or individual production, including content of drama and animation. Contestants are from diverse industry sector of multimedia production, design, sales, aviation industry and students in Macao. Professional judge panel consists of representatives from TDM and CAM, Director of Creative Industries Promotion Association of St. Lazarus Church District, Vong Sek Kuan, Director de Associação Espaço Vídeo, Johnny Wong, and Vice President of Dream Project Association, Kio Chong. Top three winners are selected from the 15 pieces by evaluating on the shooting techniques, creativity, post- production skill and depiction of content. The champion, 1st runner-up and 2nd runner up will obtain the prize of MOP 30,000, MOP 20,000 and MOP 10,000 respectively.
Pieces of winners will be broadcasted at TDM TV channels and audiences also watch the film through TDM webpage (www.tdm.com.mo) or “TDM-Info APP” mobile application. More broadcasting time and information of the microfilm of winners could be found at TDM webpage (www.tdm.com.mo) and program promotion.
