The 10th China Civil Aviation Development Forum (CCADF) was commenced in Beijing on 16th May 2019. The Chairman of Executive Committee of Macau International Airport Company Limited (CAM) Dr. Deng Jun led a delegation to attend the forum. New technologies such as digitalization, big data, cloud computing, and artificial intelligence are rapidly being applied in the global civil aviation industry. The global civil aviation industry is rapidly entering the era of “smart civil aviation”. Intelligentization will effectively enhance the production organization and operational efficiency of the global civil aviation industry. A new round of industrial transformation in the civil aviation industry.
The China Civil Aviation Development Forum is the highest level official forum approved by the State Council and hosted by the China Aviation Administration of China (CAAC). Special guests attended the forum and delivers speech include Vice Chairman if 13th CPPCC National Committee Mr. Leung Chun-ying, Minister and Deputy Party Secretary of Ministry of Transport if China Mr. Li Xiaoping, President of the Council of International Civil Organization (ICAO) Dr. Olumuyiwa Bernard Aliu, Under Secretary of Transportation for Policy, U.S. Mr. Derek Kan, Minister for Transport of Republic of Singapore. Nearly 500 representatives of 13 countries and regions (including Hong Kong, Macao) from domestic and foreign government officials, corporate executives, domestic airlines, airports, service guarantees, aviation manufacturing enterprises, senior leaders and civil aviation industry management departments and other leaders, as well as from five international and regional organizations, attended the forum.
Administrator of the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) Mr. Feng Zhenglin delivered a keynote speech and exchanged three views on the forum. First, firmly grasp the strategic opportunities for civil aviation development with the wisdom of the situation. Driven by a new round of scientific and technological revolution, various breakthrough and subversive technologies have emerged in a concentrated manner, and they have been cross-integrated, mutually promoted, and iteratively upgraded, leading industrial transformation and social development. This unprecedented change has created a strategic opportunity for the civil aviation industry to solve development problems, expand market space and enhance competitive advantage. It is also a significant test. Second, actively gather the transformational kinetic energy of civil aviation development taking the law of wisdom. Only by comprehensively updating the concept of intelligent civil aviation, actively constructing the future scene of smart civil aviation, and vigorously creating an institutional environment that supports the construction of intelligent civil aviation, can we truly achieve deep integration and transform the opportunities brought about by the new round of scientific and technological revolution and industrial transformation into majestic momentum of change in civil aviation. Third, become the road of wisdom and strive to open up a new stage of civil aviation development. Only by implementing a development strategy that is driven by wisdom, fostering a development model centered on intensive sharing, and creating a development mechanism characterized by cooperation and win-win, can we promote this process of change and achieve the wisdom of future civil aviation development.
Deputy Administrators of Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) Mr. Li Jian, Mr. Dong Zhiyi, Mr. Lyu Erxue attended the forum, and Mr. Li Jian has delivered the closing speech. Mr. Dong Zhiyi as the chairman of the forum, officiated the opening ceremony and delivered the opening remarks, he stated that China Civil Aviation Development Forum was established in the year 2007, and was successfully held for 9 years. And the theme of the 10th China Civil Aviation Development Forum is “Intelligent Aviation – High Quality Development in a New Scientific, Technological and Industrial Revolution”. The Forum will be last for 2 days, 4 different segments were designed in the forum around the topic, which included: The Opening Ceremony, 4 sessions of themed speech, 3 sessions of panel discussions and The Closing Ceremony. Around 500 top officials, leaders and specialists from 13 countries and regions, 5 international organizations and different industries, gathered to exchange ideas around the theme of this year. Through the hard work of every participants, the 2 days forum was truly successful and fruitful.
