With the passenger traffic volume of Macau International Airport (MIA) continuing to flourish, along with the increase on travel demand by residents, passengers’ requirements on air services are gradually on the rise. To elevate passengers’ travel experience, Macau International Airport Customer Service Committee carried out a familiarization tour to Beijing Daxing International Airport and Beijing Daxing International Airport Inflight Catering Ltd., during 19th – 21st November 2019. Taking this opportunity, the delegation also visited Air Macau Co., Ltd. – Beijing Office, and was warmly received by Ms. Li Hua, General Manager of Air Macau’s Beijing & Tianjin Office, both parties carried out an in-depth discussion and analysis on route development as well as the possibility of launching new flight services.
The familiarization tour was led by Macau International Airport Company Limited (CAM). During the visit, the delegation witnessed many intelligent devices and the smartest technologies, the operation and management adopt the latest facial recognition security system to automatically complete check-in procedures, bag-drop identity verification, and boarding processes. Passengers using the new Daxing International Airport can experience a self-service and paperless travel. Taking the opportunity, the delegates also carried out a courtesy visit to the Beijing Daxing International Airport Inflight Catering Ltd., during the team was impressed by their operation and management pattern. The MIA delegates agreed that the tour was effective with valuable experiences obtained, which provided positive reference not only to MIA’s customer service, but also the planning and development in the long run.
