The promotion event celebrating the “25th Anniversary of the Macau-Chengdu route and the 30th Anniversary of Macau International Airport” was successfully organized by Macau International Airport Company Limited (CAM) and Air Macau in Chengdu from 12th to 13th April 2025. The event drew a large number of local residents to join, featuring interactive games and photo zones. During the event, Air Macau and Ctrip Travel collaborated to host a livestream, garnering over 1.46 million views and an overwhelmingly enthusiastic response.

Taking advantage of this event, CAM representatives engaged with Sichuan Airlines, Chengdu Airlines, and the Southwest Representative Office of Air Macau to explore future route developments, share insights on business collaboration, and update each other on the current market status of Macau International Airport (MIA). As ties between Macau and Chengdu strengthen, Air Macau has boosted its flight frequency between the two cities to 10 service flights weekly starting from the end of March 2025, further enhancing the convenience and accessibility of flight service between Sichuan and Macau and offering residents with more travel options. MIA remains committed to supporting its aviation partners, promoting both locally and internationally through various channels, and working towards to diversify its customer base.
