MIA Representative Participated in CAPSE 2018 Civil Aviation Service Summit

From 11th – 12th April 2018, the Deputy Director of Marketing Department of Macau International Airport Company Limited (CAM) Ms. Elizabeth Cheong and Mr. Paul Qiu – Director of Business and Marketing Department of AIMS-Airport Information Management Solutions represented the company to participate in the CAPSE 2018 Civil Aviation Service Summit organized by Hefei Hanglian Culture Communication Co., Ltd.

 

Taking the opportunity of these two days’ events, representatives of the Macau International Airport exchanged information with the industry members and experts and benefited greatly among the sharing.

 

The summit was held in Shanghai with the theme of “New Horizons in Service under Global Competition”. The topics were discussed in the light of the new situation, the efficiency of flight companies, the accurate marketing of big data, the optimization of aviation services in the era of open space, and the application of smart technologies in civil aviation services. , covering topics such as keynote speeches, interactive seminars, and innovative service presentations. The two-days summit include more than 100 civil aviation units from the Civil Aviation Administration, China Aviation Industry and Airport Associations, domestic and foreign airlines, airports, and service providers. More than 300 industry elites participated in the summit.

 

The summit invited Mr. Sun Xiafeng, Deputy Director, General Service Department, Transportation Division, Civil Aviation Administration of China to carry out an on-site interpretation of the recently issued Guidance on Further Enhancing the Quality of Civil Aviation Services and promote the implementation of learning across the industry. Mr. Zheng Hongfeng, CEO of Hefei Hanglian Culture Communication Co., Ltd. and Hefei Feeyo Network Technology Co., Ltd. shared his thoughts on the improvement of airline efficiency leads to a better service experience.


The summit discussed how customer service products rely on big data for accurate marketing. Several in-flight WiFi providers and air-ground interconnect experts were invited to discuss how airline services in the era of mobile Internet are optimized. What changes have brought to the cabin service model by mobile internet? What is the current status of air-ground interconnection industry and what are the challenges?
