Passenger Guide
MIA ONE ID
MIA ONE ID
Departing passengers aged 11 or above holding electronic travel documents can enjoy the “MIA ONE ID” program and related facilities at Macau International Airport.
“MIA ONE ID” adopts biometric identification technology to offer a paperless and seamless departure experience. After completing enrolment during check-in, passengers can pass through security checkpoints and boarding gates simply with facial recognition, without the need to present travel documents or boarding passes repeatedly.
Passengers who have completed online check-in may also enrol for “MIA ONE ID” program at the e-security gates by scanning their travel documents and boarding passes, and subsequently enjoy a smooth and contactless self-boarding experience.
Check-in Counters or Self-Check-In Kiosks
When passengers check in at the counters or self-check-in kiosks, the “MIA ONE ID” program will automatically create a biometric identification token (ONE ID) containing the passenger’s travel document and boarding pass information. The process is fast and effortless, requiring no additional time.
E-Security Gates
Registered passengers only need to look at the cameras at the e-security gates. Once their identity is verified, they can swiftly enter the restricted area.
Eligible passengers who have completed online check-in and hold an airport-accepted electronic boarding pass may scan their travel documents and boarding pass at the e-security gate to enrol for the ONE ID token, allowing for a faster and more seamless boarding experience.
Self-Boarding Gates
Board your flight by simply scanning your face at the cameras at self-boarding gates for identity verification.
*Passengers acceptance at self-check-in kiosks is subject to the individual policy of participating airlines and subject to change without prior notice.
Macau International Airport attaches great importance to protecting the privacy of every passenger’s personal data. Please read our Personal Data Collection Statement for more details.
